This workshop is suitable for people who want a greater understanding of their DSLR camera to produce better photographs and will include a mix of tuition, hands on demonstrations and a 1 day field trip.

Mark Hamilton is an award winning photographer whose striking images are often described as raw, powerful and emotive. Mark also has a continuing curiosity with portraiture. His passion for travel, people and culture – along with a continual desire to ‘get out of his comfort zone’ – means he has photographed all over the world, capturing the heady night life in Seoul, to quiet village life in Bosnia and the illegal occupation of the Palestinian Territories.

Despite a strong interest in art as a child, Mark describes himself as a somewhat ‘late starter’ in photography. At the age of 40 he decided to pursue his passion and gave up his day job to study photography full time. Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Media Arts in 2001.

Course runs over the 7th, 8th and 9th of January.
